The Castle Museum, the Jorvik Viking Centre and of course the National Railway Museum are all regarded as some of the finest Museums in the country.

In addition there are Boat Trips, excellent shopping, Characteristic English Pubs, Wine Bars and a good choice of Restaurants and Bistros.
