ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Late afternoon departure travelling to the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge.
Time to settle into your comfortable bedrooms and perhaps enjoy a drink in the lounge.
SATURDAY
After a full English Cooked Breakfast we depart to the important City of Canterbury.
Here you can explore the famous Cathedral, the excellent High Street Shops and the International Visitor Attractions.
There will be time for a Morning Coffee before we travel to the Historic Dockyard at Chatham - One of the most complete Dockyards still surviving and flourishing today.
Now it is a superb visitor attraction with many aspects to explore and view.
It is here that many Film and Television Productions have used the original settings including - Call the Midwife.
This afternoon we will be joined by our local guides who will show you the areas used for the filming of this remarkable series.
We will also include a full Afternoon Tea.
We return to the Hilton Hotel where Dinner is included this evening.
SUNDAY
A hot traditional Breakfast and then we travel to Leeds Castle - 'The loveliest Castle in the World'.
Originally built by the Normans 900 years ago, it has been a Royal Residence, a Palace to Henry VIII and the Manor of the Saxon Royal Family.
Today it has been lovingly restored and is indeed an integral part of English history.
We depart early afternoon and return to the West Midlands.
