ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Lunchtime departure to County Durham and the impressive Redworth Hall hotel.
Settle in and discover your new surroundings before your included Dinner.
SATURDAY
A full English Breakfast buffet before we make two significant and historic visits. Firstly we call at Bishop Auckland.
With its famous Auckland Castle and the connection with tea shops, museums and its Castle grounds.
We then continue to the impressive city of Durham.
Situated on the River Wear, you can visit the magnificent Cathedral, its medieval Castle and the wonderful shops, restaurants and central attractions.
Late afternoon we return to Redworth Hall where Dinner is again included.
We hope to arrange some musical entertainment for your further enjoyment.
SUNDAY
A traditional Breakfast and then we depart to the amazing city of York.
So much to see here no matter what time of year with its ancient narrow streets, the huge selection of world class museums, top high street shops, bistros and restaurants.
We depart back to the West Midlands - early afternoon!
REDWORTH HALL
This historic hotel is situated in acres of landscaped gardens and dates back to the 17th century. Today it is a premium 4-star hotel with excellent leisure facilities, swimming pool, hair & beauty salon, restaurant, lounge bar, passenger lift and well-appointed bedrooms all with full private facilities.
