ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Early morning departure crossing to France and Belgium and then to the scenic Rhine Valley - Germany. We arrive in Rüdesheim in the evening where we spend 3 nights at the Hotel Felsenkeller - Dinner included.
SATURDAY
Buffet Breakfast and then it's time to discover just some of the many attractions of this historic resort.
Today we include a tasting of locally produced quality wines and an interesting talk by our local wine grower.
We then include a return cable car ride over the autumn gold vineyards to the German National Monument with fantastic views over the magnificent Rhine Valley. In Rüdesheim it is time to harvest the new wines and the celebration is combined with attractive chalets, music and a wonderful atmosphere. Dinner is included in the hotel this evening.
SUNDAY
After Breakfast a full day for visits, shops and sights or join our optional river cruise along the Rhine Valley to the lovely old town of Bacharach. Relax onboard with service and commentary. Our final Dinner at the Hotel Felsenkeller.
MONDAY
Breakfast and then re-join the coach to travel through Holland and Belgium to arrive in France for our afternoon crossing back to England.
HOTEL FELSENKELLER
Situated in the Pedestrian Zone, yards from the Drosselgasse and backing onto the vineyards, the Hotel Felsenkeller is a regular holiday choice and has been a firm favourite of ours for over 40 years. All Bedrooms have Private Facilities, Shower, TV and Telephone. There is a small Lounge, Sun Terrace, Restaurant and 24-Hour Reception. There are steps before the small passenger Lift. A superb family-run Hotel!
NOTE:
Due to Resort Centre Locations, we are not allowed to Take our Coach to the Hotel in Rüdesheim. Therefore some walking to the Hotel will be involved but luggage will be taken to and from the Hotel Reception.
