ITINERARY
MONDAY
Morning departure making a lunch time stop at Gretna Green and then continue into Scotland to join our afternoon ferry to Belfast. A short journey to The Stormont Hotel where we will enjoy a 4-night stay with Dinner and Breakfast included each day.
TUESDAY
A traditional Irish Breakfast before we set off on our first day of discovery. We meet our local guide at the symbolic city hall and then commence a historic tour of this fascinating area. After a short time for lunch, drinks or shopping, we take you to the magnificent Titanic Belfast. Built and updated on the original site where this world-famous ship was built, you will be amazed at the story of the ill-fated Ocean Liner operated by White Star Line.
WEDNESDAY
After Breakfast today, we depart to the Village of Royal Hillsborough with admission to Hillsborough Castle - the official residence for all state occasions and visited regularly by our royal family and overseas heads of state. We include a guided tour, admission to the lovely gardens plus tea and scones. You can also explore the village before our return to Stormont.
THURSDAY
Today we visit and include admission into the Ulster Transport Museum with a brilliant display of Irish vehicles, trains, trams and artefacts recovered from the bottom of the sea from Titanic - a unique collection - so very interesting. This afternoon another really interesting visit and tour of the Hinch Irish whiskey and gin distillery - time to sample some of this excellent spirit and see how it is made. We return for our last evening at The Stormont for Dinner and time to reflect on all you have seen in Belfast.
FRIDAY
A cooked Breakfast and then we depart to join our late morning ferry back to Cairnryan, arriving home late afternoon.
