Best of Yorkshire 2025

ITINERARY

THURSDAY*
Morning departure to Yorkshire and the internationally famous village of Haworth. Haworth is the home of the Brontë Sisters, responsible for such classics as Jayne Eyre and Wuthering Heights. The steep narrow streets have tea shops, the Black Bull pub and places for a tasty Yorkshire lunch. Here we include a steam railway journey to Keighley where on arrival, we will serve you a nice cup of Yorkshire tea! We then travel to our hotel - The Thorpe Park Spa - our home for the next 4 nights.

FRIDAY
After Breakfast we head to the Yorkshire coast where we visit Scarborough, one of the most popular and largest seaside resorts in the country. Our return journey takes us through stunning Yorkshire countryside, arriving in time for Dinner.

SATURDAY
A hearty Breakfast and then we drive to the James Herriot country and the famous market town of Thirsk, the home of 'All creatures Great and Small'. We then continue to the lovely town of Ripon, before our scenic journey back to the hotel in time for Dinner.

SUNDAY
A traditional Yorkshire Breakfast before our departure to the county capital - York. Here we include a boat cruise, time in the ancient city and a delicious afternoon tea at 'The Hilton'. Our final Dinner this evening.

MONDAY
Our final cooked Breakfast and then we re-join our luxury coach for the return to the West Midlands.

*Note: 15th May Departure: Slight Change in Itinerary -
Thursday: No Steam Trains will be operating this day, therefore we will visit Thirsk and Ripon before arriving at the Hotel.
Saturday: Steam Train return journey from Keighley including stops at Haworth and Oxenhope Stations for the 1940s event. We will then either visit Haworth or Skipton
