ITINERARY

SUNDAY
Morning departure making a stop in the Yorkshire seaside resort of Whitby.

Explore the ancient narrow Streets, the bustling harbour and see the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey.

We then continue to the Newcastle Holiday Inn Hotel.

Here we arrive to include 4 nights with Dinner and English Breakfast.

MONDAY
A leisurely Breakfast before we depart to the magnificent Alnwick Castle and Gardens.

We have arranged a tour of the State Rooms but you will also recognise the settings for 'Hogwarts' in the first two Harry Potter Films and as Brancaster Castle in the Downton Abbey Christmas Specials.
A brilliant day out!

We return to our hotel to relax over Dinner.

TUESDAY
A day free in the vibrant city or join our optional tour with a local guide.

Dinner once again at our hotel.

WEDNESDAY
After Breakfast, our double destination takes us firstly to the award-winning Beamish Museum, with its story of life in the North East and then to the historic City of Durham with its famous Cathedral and Castle.

A memorable day out with something for everyone. This evening our final Dinner at the hotel.

THURSDAY
Full English Breakfast and then our comfortable journey back to the West Midlands.
