ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Lunch time departure travelling to the Bridgewood Manor hotel and spa.
Time to settle into your comfortable bedrooms and then Dinner and a relaxing evening.
SATURDAY
English Breakfast before we depart to the historic town of Rochester.
Here is where Charles Dickens started his life, you will find Rochester castle and cathedral.
There is the Guildhall Museum and plenty of shops and tea rooms.
There will be time for a morning coffee before we travel to the historic dockyard at Chatham - one of the most complete dockyards still surviving and flourishing today.
Now it is a superb visitor attraction with many aspects to explore and view.
It is here that many film and television productions have used the original settings including - Call the Midwife, Mr Selfridge, Les Misérables, The Crown and Bridgerton.
This afternoon we will be joined by our local guides who will show you the areas used for the filming of this remarkable series.
We will also include a delicious full afternoon tea.
We return to the hotel where Dinner is included again this evening.
SUNDAY
After a traditional Breakfast, we depart to the medieval city of Canterbury. You can visit the famous cathedral, one of the many museums, high street shops and fine cafes and restaurants.
After time for lunch, we travel to Leeds Castle for their special Firework spectacular display.
You can explore the gardens and maze before the show that starts at around 5:30pm. (The Interior of the castle is closed for this event)
After the spectacular event, we depart back to the West Midlands.
