FRIDAY
Lunch time departure travelling to the Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa. Time to settle into your comfortable bedrooms and then Dinner and a relaxing evening.
SATURDAY
After a full English cooked Breakfast, we depart to the important city of Canterbury. Here you can explore the famous cathedral, the excellent high street shops and the international visitor attractions.
There will be time for shopping and morning coffee before we travel to the historic dockyard at Chatham - one of the most complete dockyards still surviving and flourishing today. Now it is a superb visitor attraction with many aspects to explore and view.
It is here that many film and television productions have used the original settings including - Call the Midwife, Mr Selfridge, Les Misérables, The Crown and Bridgerton.
This afternoon we will be joined by our local guides who will show you the areas used for the filming of this remarkable series.
We return to enjoy an evening with Dinner, a glass of Prosecco and an Elvis Presley tribute at the Bridgewood Manor hotel .
SUNDAY
A hot traditional Breakfast and then we travel to Leeds Castle - 'The loveliest castle in the world'.
Originally built by the Normans over 900 years ago, it has been a royal residence, a palace to Henry VIII and the manor of the Saxon royal family. Today it has been lovingly restored and is indeed an integral part of English history.
We return to the hotel in the afternoon to include a delicious Afternoon Tea.
Time to make use of the leisure facilities before your final Dinner with new friends.
