Christmas in Somerset 2025

ITINERARY

23 DECEMBER
Late morning / lunchtime departure to Somerset and The Northfield Hotel, Minehead.

A welcome hot drink and mince pie on arrival before you unpack ready for your 4-night Christmas holiday.

At 6pm a glass of sparkling wine and a welcome meeting to introduce the hotel manager and friendly staff. Your evening meal is served in the Oak dining room with entertainment afterwards in the lounge bar.

CHRISTMAS EVE
English Breakfast is served at leisure from 8am. Today we include a trip on the West Somerset Steam Railway for a 'Santa Special'. We return for an afternoon fun Christmas quiz.

Tonight, your Christmas Eve Dinner will be followed by light entertainment.

CHRISTMAS DAY =
A cooked Breakfast and a glass of sparkling Bucks Fizz. Time to open those Christmas presents and maybe a visit from Santa himself.

A traditional Christmas Day Lunch with all the trimmings. This afternoon, the Kings Speech will be shown in the bar lounge.

Tonight - an evening Buffet and entertainment.

BOXING DAY
Relax over Breakfast. Today we visit the lovely village of Dunster with its famous castle and later you can explore the shops and sales of Minehead.

Our final Dinner is served any time from 6pm until 8:30pm and once again entertainment in the lounge bar.

27 DECEMBER
A freshly cooked Breakfast and then a sad farewell to the Northfield staff as we make our way back to the West Midlands.
