ITINERARY
MONDAY
Morning departure making a short stop at the medieval town of Guildford and then to the popular holiday destination of Eastbourne. Here we arrive at the Lansdowne Hotel just yards away from the floral sea front. We spend 4 nights with Dinner and full English Breakfast.
TUESDAY
A traditional Breakfast and a day to discover Eastbourne or join our optional excursion to Hastings - the setting for Foyle's War, and the ancient and half-timbered town of Rye. We return to our hotel in the afternoon - relax over Dinner.
WEDNESDAY
English Breakfast and then prepare for a short visit to the fashionable resort of Brighton. This regent destination is one of the oldest holiday resorts and is full of life and has many wonderful shops. We then travel to join the historic Bluebell Railway for a return journey between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead*. Plenty of nostalgia, memories and famous names are associated with these trains. Tonight, Dinner is once again served in the restaurant.
THURSDAY
After Breakfast, a day free to explore the attractive sea front, the museums, the excellent shops, attractions and tea rooms. Our final evening with Dinner.
FRIDAY
Breakfast before our departure back to the West Midlands.
THE LANSDOWNE HOTEL
Situated just across the road from the Western Lawns, the hotel is just 200 meters from the beach. With 90 bedrooms all with private facilities, the hotel offers the perfect base for all the attractions of the resorts. There is a restaurant, a regency bar and lounges with sea views. There is a passenger lift, 24-hour reception services and free WiFi throughout. Sea View rooms are available at a supplement.
