ITINERARY
MONDAY
Morning departure calling at the Blacksmiths visitor centre - Gretna Green, before continuing to Loch Lomond and The Winnock Hotel in the lovely village of Drymen. The hotel is a former 18th century coaching inn, offering traditional Scottish hospitality and freshly prepared local food.
TUESDAY
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast. Today we include a wonderful excursion travelling through stunning countryside, passing Lochs and Glens to Inverary and then calling at the historic village of Luss on the west bank of Loch Lomond. We return to the hotel where we include a delicious cream tea. Tonight - Dinner and entertainment. All Dinners include a complimentary glass of wine and we provide a free bar of house brand drinks from 7:30pm - 10:30pm.
WEDNESDAY
After Breakfast this morning we leave for the capital city of Edinburgh. Here along the royal mile, we find the fabulous Christmas market. A marvellous winter wonderland with wooden chalets, ice skating rink and even a big wheel and special festive shows. We return to the hotel for Dinner, wine and entertainment.
THURSDAY
Relax over Breakfast. A free day in Drymen or join our optional tour. This will include a visit to Stirling, the Trossachs, a boat cruise and afternoon tea. Tonight, our final Dinner is again followed by entertainment and our open bar until 10:30pm - cheers!
FRIDAY
A hearty Breakfast before our return journey back to the West Midlands.
WINNOCK HOTEL
The popular Winnock Hotel is situated in the centre of Drymen village just a short distance from Loch Lomond. All bedrooms are prepared in traditional Scottish style with private facilities, TV, tea & coffee tray, lounge area with open fire, bar, reception service, Merlin restaurant & function room for meals and entertainment. Dinner is normally a choice menu followed by tea or coffee. There are just two floors but no Lift.
