ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Afternoon departure, we travel to our Doubletree Hotel near Swindon.
Make yourself comfortable before taking your included buffet Dinner.
SATURDAY
A full English Breakfast before our departure to the world-famous city of Portsmouth, with its many attractions, sights and British importance.
Here we meet our expert local Guide, offering an insight into Portsmouth's rich heritage and historic landmarks.
You can visit the 'Mary Rose' and the 'HMS Victory', the Spinnaker Tower, the D-Day or Charles Dickens museums or indeed Gunwharf Quays shopping centre.
So many things to see and do.
Late afternoon we depart back to our hotel where we include a buffet Dinner once more.
SUNDAY
A traditional Sunday Breakfast and then we depart to Bletchley Park.
Bletchley Park is home of the codebreakers!
Step back in time to World War II arriving at this unique secret location.
Here enigma messages sent by the Germans were decrypted and translated for vital intelligence.
We depart in the afternoon for our return journey to the West Midlands.
DOUBLETREE BY HILTON SWINDON
The Doubletree by Hilton Swindon is situated to the west of the town centre. It has 171 bedrooms all with private bathroom, TV and telephone. There is a lounge bar, restaurant, 24-hour reception and gym. Passenger lifts serve all floors.
