ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Afternoon departure to our Holiday Inn Hotel, situated in the heart of Yorkshire.
After checking in you can make your way to the restaurant where we include a simple buffet Dinner.
SATURDAY
Enjoy your Yorkshire Breakfast and then our 9:30am departure to the ancient walled city of York.
With its medieval narrow streets, its wonderful museums including the national railway museum - the home of the Flying Scotsman and the Jorvik Viking centre.
At around 5pm we travel back to our hotel. Time to relax and change before Dinner is again included.
SUNDAY
A traditional Sunday Breakfast.
We are now ready for the highlight of our tour - Chatsworth House. Chatsworth is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and we include admission to the house, gardens and this wonderful country estate.
Admire the magnificent art, Roman and Egyptian sculptures and the exclusive period furniture in over 25 fabulous state rooms. There are regular events and a guaranteed enjoyable visit.
We start our return journey in the afternoon travelling back to the West Midlands.
HOLIDAY INN LEEDS GARFORTH
The hotel has over 140 bedrooms all fitted with modern and comfortable facilities. There is a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, lounge, bar, restaurant, 24-hour reception and free WiFi. There are just 3 levels, but no Lift.
