ITINERARY

FRIDAY
Afternoon departure to Wiltshire and the outskirts of Swindon to our Doubletree hotel.

A friendly welcome and a buffet Dinner combine to make a relaxing evening.

SATURDAY
English Breakfast at leisure before we start our adventure around the lovely County of Wiltshire.

You will need your walking shoes on to access the charming Cotswolds village of Castle Combe - The prettiest village in England. Used for many films and TV productions for its unspoilt character and Honeypot stone.

From here we venture to the historic village of Lacock. Again used in many films and famous for Lacock Abbey, its quaint very English dwellings and traditional pubs, Lacock attract visitors from all over the world.

Our final destination today is the Wiltshire town of Bradford-on-Avon.

Dating back to Roman times, this hidden gem has so much to offer with its canal network, unique buildings, shops, restaurants, museums, gardens and tourist office. It is situated on the River Avon.

We return to the Doubletree hotel where Dinner is again included tonight.

SUNDAY
A hot Sunday Breakfast buffet and then we depart for more Wiltshire sights.

We visit Avebury - a World Heritage Site, famous for its Stone Circles, museums, Avebury Manor and its attractive church and village - even its haunted pub.

From here we travel past the well known Silbury Hill and then Marlborough College to the market town of Marlborough.

In one of the widest high streets in the UK, there are plenty of Tea Rooms and coffee shops for a tasty stack or lunch before our afternoon return journey to the West Midlands.
