ITINERARY

MONDAY
Morning departure to join our channel crossing and onwards to the historic town of Ypres. Here we arrive at the perfectly positioned Novotel Hotel for our 4-night stay with full Buffet Breakfast at leisure each morning.

TUESDAY
After Breakfast you can discover the attractive and fascinating city with its Flanders Fields Museum and Menin Gate. The 'Last Post' is sounded every evening here dedicated to the missing British Commonwealth Soldiers.

This afternoon we include a tour of some of the Battlefields with an expert local guide.

Just yards from the hotel are a splendid selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

WEDNESDAY
Today we offer an optional excursion to the lovely city of Bruges - known as 'The Venice of the North', with its elegant squares and amazing buildings this colourful destination attracts visitors from all over the world.

THURSDAY
A free day to continue your exploration of this historic city.

We will offer another local morning excursion taking in the war memories of this important area.

FRIDAY
A relaxed and tasty Breakfast before our departure staying within West Flanders, we call at the ancient town of Veurne with its discovery museum that tells the story of how the city avoided the German invasion.

We then continue to join our crossing back to the UK.
