ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Morning departure calling at the Blacksmiths visitor centre, Gretna Green, before continuing to the Loch Lomond area and The Winnock Hotel in the lovely village of Drymen. The hotel is a former 18th century coaching inn, offering traditional Scottish hospitality and freshly prepared local food. Here we stay for 3 nights with Dinner and wine included each evening together with an open bar of house brands (7:30pm until 10:30pm).
SATURDAY
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast before our departure to Edinburgh. Discover the amazing history of this capital city, walk Princes Street, explore the castle or the fantastic shops. We will also offer an optional guided tour with a local guide with a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia. We return for entertainment and Dinner.
SUNDAY
Breakfast at leisure and then a drive around Lochs and Glens as we visit Inverary. We return to give you an afternoon in Drymen before our final evening of Dinner and entertainment plus your normal open bar - cheers!
MONDAY
A hearty Breakfast before we depart back to the West Midlands.
WINNOCK HOTEL
The popular Winnock Hotel is situated in the centre of Drymen village just a short distance from Loch Lomond. All bedrooms are prepared in traditional Scottish style with private facilities, TV, tea & coffee tray, lounge area with open fire, bar, reception service, Merlin restaurant & function room for meals and entertainment. Dinner is normally a choice menu followed by tea or coffee. There are just two floors but no Lift.
