Wiltshire & West 2024

ITINERARY

THURSDAY
Morning departure travelling to the beautiful Cotswolds, making stops at Stow-on-the-Wold and Cirencester.

We then continue to our Hotel near Swindon for our 4 night stay, to include a Dinner Buffet each evening and full English Breakfast each morning.


FRIDAY
Breakfast at leisure before our exciting day excursion, taking in the Dorset Market Town of Shaftesbury - Famous for its Hovis Advert featuring Gold Hill.

We then visit the only City in Wiltshire - Salisbury - also an attractive Market Town with its famous Cathedral and finally calling at the wonderful Village of Lacock - Known for its many films made here, Lacock Abbey and the former home of Queen Camilla.


SATURDAY
Today, all roads lead to the elegant City of Bath.

A World Heritage Site - Bath is known all over the World for its Roman Baths, Spa, attractive Buildings, Abbey and its excellent Shops & Restaurants.

It has also been the location for many Films and TV Dramas including Bridgerton.

We will be joined by an expert local Guide for a Tour of the most interesting sights and places.

We return to the Doubletree where Dinner is again included tonight.


SUNDAY
After a Sunday Breakfast, we include another fascinating day with a visit to King Alfred's Winchester, with its famous Cathedral, the unique Market Town of Marlborough, with its prestigious College and finally to the Village of Avebury - A world Heritage Site, where you can visit the largest Stone Circle in the World and 16th Century Avebury Manor House.

We return for our final Dinner and a relaxing evening with friends.


MONDAY
A cooked Breakfast at leisure, before our return journey calling at Gloucester Quays for shopping, lunch and maybe a visit to the fascinating docks area or the magnificent Cathedral, used for several Harry Potter films.

We return to the West Midlands in the afternoon.
