ITINERARY
THURSDAY
Morning departure to Yorkshire and the internationally famous village of Haworth. Haworth is the home of the Brontë Sisters, responsible for such classics as Jayne Eyre and Wuthering Heights. The steep narrow streets have tea shops, the Black Bull Pub and places for a tasty Yorkshire lunch.
Here we include a steam railway journey to Keighley where on arrival, we will serve you a nice cup of Yorkshire tea! We then travel to our hotel - the Thorpe Park & Spa - our home for the next 4 nights.
FRIDAY
After Breakfast, we make our way to the Yorkshire coast for a visit to the much loved seaside town of Whitby. Famous for its atmospheric harbour, winding cobbled streets, independent shops and stunning clifftop views. Enjoy free time to explore at your leisure - perhaps sample the town's renowned fish and chips, stroll along the pier or browse the quirky boutiques.
In the afternoon, we begin our return journey, travelling back through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and arriving at the hotel in time for Dinner.
SATURDAY
A hearty Breakfast and then we drive to the Yorkshire Dales. Firstly, stopping at the attractive village of Grassington and then to the award-winning market town of Skipton. Here you can discover the unique high street, its famous canals and Castle.
A fascinating day before we return to the hotel for Dinner.
SUNDAY
A traditional Yorkshire Breakfast before we depart for the magnificent county capital of York. Your visit includes a relaxing boat cruise, offering a unique view of this historic city from the water, followed by free time to explore the ancient streets, independent shops, iconic landmarks and charming cafés at your own pace - a true Yorkshire delight.
This evening, enjoy our final Dinner
MONDAY
Our final cooked Breakfast and then we re-join our luxury coach for the return to the West Midlands.
