ITINERARY
SUNDAY
Morning departure taking us to the award-winning Beamish Museum, with its story of life in the North East.
We then continue to the Delta by Marriott Durham hotel.
Here we arrive to include 4 nights with Dinner and English Breakfast.
MONDAY
A leisurely Breakfast before we depart to the magnificent Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
We have arranged a tour of the State Rooms but you will also recognise the settings for 'Hogwarts' in the first two Harry Potter Films and as Brancaster Castle in the Downton Abbey Christmas Specials.
A brilliant day out!
We return to our hotel to relax over Dinner.
TUESDAY
After Breakfast, we travel to the Yorkshire seaside resort of Whitby.
Explore the ancient narrow Streets, the bustling harbour and see the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey.
Dinner once again at our hotel.
WEDNESDAY
A day free in the vibrant and historic City of Durham with its famous Cathedral and Castle.
This evening our final Dinner at the hotel.
THURSDAY
Full English Breakfast and then our comfortable journey back to the West Midlands.
