ITINERARY
THURSDAY
A morning departure from the West Midlands as we travel south through rolling countryside towards the Cornish coast.
We arrive in the afternoon at the Carlyon Bay Hotel, beautifully positioned overlooking St Austell Bay.
Settle into your room, take in the sea air, and enjoy your first evening with Dinner in the hotel restaurant.
FRIDAY
After Breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to St Ives, famous for its golden beaches, winding lanes, boutique shops and artistic heritage. Enjoy time to explore the harbour, browse the galleries or simply relax by the sea.
In the afternoon we continue to Falmouth, a vibrant maritime town with a rich seafaring history. Wander the waterfront, visit the independent shops, or enjoy a coffee overlooking the bustling harbour before returning to the hotel for Dinner.
SATURDAY
Today we visit two of Cornwall's prettiest coastal spots.
Our first stop is Looe, a traditional fishing port with a charming old town, narrow streets and a lovely sandy beach. Enjoy free time to stroll along the harbour or sample some local treats. Also - the setting for the TV Series 'Beyond Paradise'.
We then continue to Fowey, a picturesque estuary town known for its literary links, boutique shops and stunning waterside views.
Take a gentle walk along the quayside or relax with a drink overlooking the river before returning to St Austell for Dinner.
SUNDAY
After Breakfast we travel to Padstow, one of Cornwall's most iconic harbour towns.
With its colourful fishing boats, independent shops and famous foodie scene, it's a delightful place to spend a leisurely day.
Enjoy time to explore the harbour, sample local delicacies or simply soak up the coastal atmosphere before returning to the hotel to enjoy the facilities and views before your final Dinner.
MONDAY
Following Breakfast, we bid farewell to the Carlyon Bay Hotel and begin our comfortable journey back to the Midlands, returning with wonderful memories of Cornwall's coast and countryside.
