ITINERARY

WEDNESDAY
Depart in the morning for the beautiful and historic city of Bath, home to one of Britain's most charming and romantic festive markets - the Bath Christmas Market.

Set against a stunning backdrop of elegant Georgian architecture, the market's magical atmosphere is the perfect way to begin the festive season.

Browse the traditional wooden chalets offering unique gifts and crafts, savour delicious hot food, enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine, and soak up the seasonal spirit with colourful lights and festive music throughout the city.

Later in the afternoon we travel to the outskirts of Newbury to our comfortable overnight stay at the Orida Hotel.

Settle into your room before enjoying an included Dinner followed by a relaxing evening at the hotel.

THURSDAY
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day with a traditional English breakfast Buffet at the hotel.

We then travel to the magnificent Highclere Castle, world-famous as the filming location for the beloved TV series Downton Abbey.

During the festive season the castle is beautifully decorated for Christmas, allowing visitors to experience the house in all its seasonal splendour.

Your visit includes: Admission to the castle and grounds, Entry to the fascinating Egyptian Exhibition, & time to explore the gardens, with refreshments available to purchase from the coffee shop.

You will also receive a signed copy of a book by Lady Carnarvon, the current chatelaine of Highclere Castle.

After our visit we begin the journey back to the West Midlands, returning in the afternoon.
