ITINERARY
DAY ONE
Morning departure for our comfortable journey to Scotland with a lunch stop at Gretna Green. We arrive at The Winnock Hotel - tonight Dinner with a glass of wine, entertainment and complimentary bar from 7:30pm - 10:30pm.
DAY TWO
Scottish Breakfast and a morning free in Drymen. Lunch is included today before our departure to Edinburgh. Enjoy the fantastic atmosphere as the Edinburgh International Festival also takes place in the month of August!
There is so much to see and we will also offer an optional visit and tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Take your seats for the evening performance of the world-famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Afterwards our coach will be waiting to take you back to the Winnock where soup, sandwiches and drinks from the late bar are waiting.
DAY THREE
A lazy Breakfast and lunchtime excursion around the stunning Loch Lomond. We return for Dinner and entertainment.
DAY FOUR
Day free or join our optional local tour. This will include a visit to Stirling, the Trossachs, a boat cruise and afternoon tea. Tonight, our final Dinner with entertainment once more and our regular open bar - cheers!
DAY FIVE
A traditional cooked Breakfast and our return journey to the West Midlands.
WINNOCK HOTEL
The popular Winnock Hotel is situated in the centre of Drymen village just a short distance from Loch Lomond. All bedrooms are prepared in traditional Scottish style with private facilities, TV, tea & coffee tray, lounge area with open fire, bar, reception service, Merlin restaurant & function room for meals and entertainment. Dinner is normally a choice menu followed by tea or coffee. There are just two floors but no lift.
