ITINERARY
SATURDAY
Early morning departure to join our short channel crossing and our overnight stay in Reims, France including Dinner.
SUNDAY
Breakfast, then we travel south past Dijon to Talloires near Lake Annecy, where arrive at the Hotel Les Grillons for our 5-night stay. Dinner and Breakfast are included each day.
MONDAY
A free day to explore or relax in the hotel and enjoy the views onto the surrounding fields and mountains.
TUESDAY
Today we include an excursion to Annecy, which has an idyllic location on one of the loveliest lakes in the Alps. The historic town centre teams with shops and restaurants and there are glorious views onto the surrounding mountains. There may be an option for a boat cruise.
WEDNESDAY
After Breakfast today, we take the scenic journey to Lake Geneva and the lovely spa town of Evian.
THURSDAY
This morning, we include a visit to Grenoble - often referred to as 'the Capital of the Alps'. See the terraces of Place Saint-André, the old parliament building, stroll along the fountains of Place Grenette and relax in the Place Saint-Clair. You can also travel on the iconic cable car to enjoy the beautiful views across the rooftops.
FRIDAY
An early Breakfast this morning as we begin our return journey home, with a comfortable overnight stay again in Reims to include Dinner.
SATURDAY
Buffet Breakfast and then we make our way to Calais where we join our crossing to England and back to the West Midlands.

Situated in the Rhone-Alps region and just a short distance from Lake Annecy, this excellent 3-star hotel offers a comfortable base for our fascinating French tour. All bedrooms have private facilities, there is a restaurant, snack bar, lounge bar, outdoor swimming pool, terrace & gardens, reception services, passenger lift and free WiFi. A 4-course dinner and full buffet breakfast all freshly made with local produce are served and included each day.
