ITINERARY
SUNDAY
Early morning departure to join our crossing to France and onwards to Limburg for our overnight stay - Vienna House Hotel - bed and breakfast basis.
MONDAY
After a Buffet Breakfast we depart through stunning scenery for Austria to arrive in Mayrhofen where we spend five nights at the Hotel Neue Post.
TUESDAY - FRIDAY
There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in Mayrhofen, cable cars, seasonal events and the Ziller Valley railway.
We include a road train tour to show you the town and its attractions. We also include a railway Journey along the Ziller Valley and a boat cruise on Lake Achensee.
Optional excursions will be available to: Krimml Waterfalls - travelling over the Gerlos Pass to the world-famous resort of Kitzbuhel and an excursion to the Hintertux where enclosed cable cars whisk you up to the snow-covered glacier to see people ski all year round!
SATURDAY
Another Buffet Breakfast before we make our way to Germany where we overnight - Dinner included.
SUNDAY
Buffet Breakfast before our departure for France and the crossing back to England.
HOTEL NEUE POST
The Hotel Neue Post has been totally refurbished and is situated in the centre of Mayrhofen. Facilities include a restaurant, café, lounge areas, sun-bathing areas, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and bar with occasional music. All 90 bedrooms have private facilities, telephone and are served by passenger lift. Accommodation is provided in two buildings and many rooms differ in size, décor and outlook. Dinner and a superb breakfast are included each day.
