ITINERARY
DAY ONE
Early morning departure crossing to France and Belgium and then to the scenic Rhine Valley - Germany.
Here we arrive in Rüdesheim where we spend 3 nights at the Hotel Felsenkeller - Dinner included.
DAY TWO
A Buffet Breakfast with both hot and cold selections at leisure in the restaurant. This morning, we include a boat trip along the River Rhine to Bacharach returning early afternoon. You now have the opportunity to discover Rudesheim with its ancient narrow streets, the Drosselgasse, the museums, castles and its famous wines. Enjoy Dinner in the hotel before a stroll around this unique German resort.
DAY THREE
Today we offer an optional tour along the Rhine Valley taking in all the famous castles and wine villages as we make our way to the historic town of Koblenz. See the meeting of the Rhine and Moselle rivers overlooked by a huge fortress. We return for dinner and why not take advantage of the entertainment in the Drosselgasse.
DAY FOUR
Early Breakfast and then we re-join the coach through Holland and Belgium to arrive in Calais, for our afternoon crossing back to England.
HOTEL FELSENKELLER
Situated in the Pedestrian Zone, yards from the Drosselgasse and backing onto the vineyards, the Hotel Felsenkeller is a regular holiday choice and has been a firm favourite of ours for over 40 years. All Bedrooms have Private Facilities, Shower, TV and Telephone. There is a small Lounge, Sun Terrace, Restaurant and 24-Hour Reception. There are steps before the small passenger Lift. A superb family-run Hotel!
NOTE:
Due to Resort Centre Locations, we are not allowed to Take our Coach to the Hotel in Rüdesheim. Therefore some walking to the Hotel will be involved but luggage will be taken to and from the Hotel Reception.
This hotel is not recommended for those with walking difficulties.
