ITINERARY
MONDAY
Morning departure, calling in at the lovely city of Cambridge and then we continue to the East Coast and to the Ipswich waterfront and he Salthouse Harbour Hotel.
Here we include a 4-night stay with Choice Menu Dinner and a full English Breakfast each day.
TUESDAY
After our Breakfast this morning, we depart to Bury St Edmunds, where we visit and Tour the Cathedral of St Edmundsbury. You may also like to visit the Abbey Gardens.
This town had a good choice of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, with 1,000 years of history.
We return to Ipswich Marina and our hotel for Dinner.
WEDNESDAY
Today we visit the charming seaside town of Aldeburgh, with its pastel-coloured houses, boutiques and shops before we continue to Sutton Hoo.
This is a world famous Anglo-Saxon Royal Burial Site and we include a guided tour to give you all the information.
THURSDAY
Another hearty English Breakfast before we journey to Lavenham, considered Britain's best preserved Medieval Village.
We then continue to the ancient Suffolk market town of Sudbury, situated on the River Stour with time for lunch before we visit Kentwell House and Gardens in the beautiful village of Long Melford.
We return for our final Dinner at the Salthouse Harbour.
FRIDAY
Breakfast and we prepare for our return journey to the West Midlands.
