ITINERARY
SUNDAY
Morning departure, making a lunch stop in the delightful Welsh market town of Monmouth.
From here we continue to the capital - and the outstanding city of Cardiff. Here we arrive at the perfectly positioned Hilton hotel, where we will enjoy 4 nights to include Dinner and the outstanding Hilton Buffet Breakfasts each day.
MONDAY
Breakfast at leisure - we are then joined by our local expert Cardiff guide for an amazing tour of both this historic city but also Cardiff Bay and Penarth. Today we also include entrance and a tour of the magnificent Cardiff Castle, just a few metres away from our Hilton hotel.
TUESDAY
A full day to explore the many attractions, museums and the fantastic shops and restaurants of the city. Perhaps even visit the world-famous Principality Stadium or take a river cruise to Cardiff Bay.
As an alternative, we will offer an optional excursion to the popular seaside resort of Tenby - a great place to see for future holidays.
WEDNESDAY
After Breakfast, we travel to the Royal Mint for a tour of this most important producer of all British coins - a fascinating visit. We then travel to the home of 'Gavin and Stacey' to the one and only Barry Island - see some of those famous landmarks and scenes from this iconic TV series.
The Hilton welcomes us back for our final Dinner.
THURSDAY
Enjoy Breakfast before we re-board our luxury coach for our homeward journey. We call in at the lovely town of Chepstow for a coffee stop by the Norman Castle.
We then return to the West Midlands.
HILTON CARDIFF
The Cardiff Hilton hotel is situated in the very heart of the city opposite the historic Castle. There are almost 200 well-appointed bedrooms, lounge bar, restaurant, coffee shop and leisure centre. There are 2 passengers lifts, 24-hour reception services, Free WiFi and Swimming Pool.
