Weston Super Mare Carnival 2026

ITINERARY

THURSDAY
Morning departure, travelling to the vibrant Welsh capital of Cardiff where (subject to confirmation) we can take in the first day of their Christmas market.

There is a lively shopping centre, many attractions including the historic castle, restaurants and cafes.

In the afternoon we depart to Bristol.

We will soon have you checked into the Hilton Garden Inn with modern and bright décor and comfortable bedrooms.

Tonight, a simple buffet Dinner is included and then you are within easy reach of theatres, bars and nightlife or simply relax in the hotel.

FRIDAY
A full English buffet Breakfast and then a morning to explore the attractions of Bristol that include Brunel's SS Great Britain and Docklands, the Bristol Museum and art gallery, the Banksy walking tour, top high street shops and boutique, bars, restaurants and the first to open Bristol Christmas market - 2026.

We include a buffet Lunch at the hotel before we depart the short distance to Somerset and Weston Super Mare.

Here we can experience the annual spectacle of light, music and colour in a wonderful Parade of illuminated floats, marching bands and entertainers.

The Parade through the streets and sea front of the resort lasts for around 2 hours in a friendly, warm and festive atmosphere.

After the show, we return to our hotel.

SATURDAY
After Breakfast this morning, we depart to the Georgian city of Bath.

Time to discover this beautiful spa town - a World Heritage Site with famous sights, the setting for many films and TV series, its wonderful shops and restaurant, open top bus tours and the Jane Austen Centre.

Time for Christmas shopping before our 2pm departure back to the West Midlands - A Fantastic Weekend.
