ITINERARY
FRIDAY
Afternoon departure to the Holiday Inn hotel where you can settle into your bedrooms and unpack.
A simple Dinner is included at leisure in the restaurant.
SATURDAY
A healthy or hearty English Breakfast starts our day in style.
We then depart for the ancient city of York. A thirty-minute ride takes us to this fascinating destination, popular with tourists from all over the world for its fine museums, narrow streets, entertainers and excellent shops and bistros.
The St Nicholas fayre has been extended so more people can enjoy this special Yorkshire Christmas market. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the festive spirit.
Late afternoon we return to the Holiday Inn. Dinner is included again tonight.
SUNDAY
A traditional Sunday Breakfast and then our departure to the lovely city of Chester.
Situated on the River Dee, Chester offers an attractive centre with excellent shops, restaurants and attractive Christmas decorations.
The Victorian Christmas market located between the town hall and cathedral with over 70 traditional wooden chalets.
We return to the West Midlands in the afternoon.
HOLIDAY INN HOTEL
This Garforth Hotel has been used by Parrys International for over 30 years. Now operated as a Holiday Inn it has over 140 bedrooms all fitted with modern and comfortable facilities. There is a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, lounge, bar, restaurant, 24-hour reception and free WiFi. There are just 3 levels, but no lift.
